As a writer, I am not only fascinated by different contents but also about different formats. No matter if book, audiobook or screenplay. I am privileged enough to have made experience with various ways of writing, producing and publishing.

Interpreting texts, discovering different personalities from several actors, understanding the talent and gifts of every individual helps me to make it easy to get into character and unfold their whole potential. 

The gloves come off – Musical

The musical offers a close examination of the techniques of torture employed during several periods in the past up to the present, sparking discussions about human rights’ violations, social cohesion and the nature of human. Furthermore, it delves into the psychological impact on both those inflicting torture and those subjected to it. Through a skillful blend of dark humor and meticulously researched information, the production entertains and enlightens its audience simultaneously.



Seven Seas – Musical

Using a patchwork of different refugees’ experiences, this musical shets light on the humiliating legal system and often inhumane treatment of people seeking asylum in Germany.  Social disruptions an discrimination within society play a crucial role in each of the told stories. As a theatre in the theatre, actors break the fourth wall,  diving deeply into reflection on the functioning of German courts, bureaucracy, solidarity and the responsibility of performing arts in this complex fabric.

Millary and Earl have just started their training at the SERE, learning how to protect themselves against torture techniques, when they suddenly find themselves forced to operate on the other side. This piece sheds light on the consequences of torture techniques for the victim, the torturer, and society as a whole, combining creative approaches from musical theatre and cirque moderne.

A theatre group disovers the potential and bounderies of Performing Arts while patchworking a piece about refugee rights in Germany. Telling about injustice, the social system and friendship this 90-minutes musical theatre is a captivating rollercoaster for the performers and audience alike.

“Rise Again”
A 20-minute musical about the adventurous trip of a first year student getting to the cafeteria. This film is a thoughtful parody on struggle, disappointment,  hope and joy.

Blockadekinder – Short Movie

“It’s not my fault”
The short film gives the viewer insight into the lives of two children during the Leningrad Blockade. Keeping awake constantly, the struggle of finding cold and the misery of hunger show the hardship during WWII in the city on an emotional level.

The blue of the ocean – Short Movie

“I am just a number in the system”
A German student and a refugee from Ghana meet on a deserted island. After initial distrust, they begin to befriend each other and realize how much they have in common.

Im Sog der Geschichte – Dance Theatre & Audio Book

“How would she have reacted?”

In this project, I merge fictional people from different eras, as they could have been imprisoned or worked at the former detention center “Lindenstraße 54/55” in the Eastern German city Potsdam. Historical reflections is put in the context of modern era debates. The actors come menacingly close to their roles until reality and fiction threaten to blur.

MY AUDIOWALKS

Audiowalks are an incredible way to bring cinema to the streets. Creating immersive experiences is the core of this type of creative work. In my audio walks I look for spots which are particularly interesting. Connecting fictive stories with the own weekend stroll, learning about history and reflecting about one’s experiences… all of this is possible with my audio walks either on storydive or walklistencreate

He pulls his hood down low on his face and heads out. Mattis is watching him. The two don’t speak a word to each other, yet their lives are connected by an invisible bond.

While listening to Die Wahrheit you step in the shoes of Josie to discover the famous book fair in Leipzig in 2071.  in just a few minutes, she is to guide an international audience around the fairgrounds. It soon becomes clear that the Leipzigers are not hiding their viewpoints much to Josi’s annoyance, whose ideal world backdrop is crumbling more and more.

Constantly experiencing exciting events and getting insights into the reality of amazing people that are a great inspiration and influence for me. Combining my observations, following my curiosity and mixing it with fantasy will always stay a part of me – hence: Look out for new books and projects coming up.
