Arriving in Denver in autumn 2022, it has not taken me long to discover the amazing art scene in the city. From jazz concerts and jam sessions, where I am regularly actively involved as musician to great theatre performances to dance. This scene is so interesting, that I am happy to now get the chance to take the next step: I have been awarded as Ambassador for Presenting Denver. In the next months, I will enjoy many of the great dance events in town and share my insights as a writer and journalist.
Presenting Denver is truly special. With its mission of creating connections and opportunities for dance and its vision to “inspire individuals to connect and reconsider their world through the art of dance” the network is well know all over Colorado. Since it was founded in 2014 it has been one of the main drivers to establish Denver as an innovative dance hub. I am highly looking forward to the shows and performances awaiting me in the next weeks ranging from the local Colorado ballet to international touring artists and innovative, inclusive groups.
